NBC Confirms - 30 ROCK to End After Next Season

At NBC's Post-Upfront Wrap-up yesterday, the network's Entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt confirmed the news that 30 ROCK will enter its final season this fall. The show's 13-episode upcoming season will close with a one-hour finale.

Other notable developments from the presentation:

THE VOICE will launch its third season on Monday, September 10, the night after the NFL kicks off its Sunday night schedule with the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Denver Broncos. NBC also plans to preview various comedy pilots during its Olympics coverage however no specifics were given.

CROSSBONES, formerly known as "The Republic of Pirates," has just received a straight-to-series commitment. The period drama, to be overseen by "Luther" creator Neil Cross, has been in the works since June. Greenblatt likewise made a point to mention "Mockingbird Lane," its reboot of "The Munsters," will film its pilot next month for potential midseason consideration.

ROCK CENTER WITH BrIan Williams will make the move to Thursdays this summer in advance of its fall rollout. No hard date however was indicated.
