NATPE's LA Screenings Independents announced today the official programming for their 2019 showcase. The conference will kick off with the "Producers Summit", which will be produced by NATPE, on Monday, May 13th. The program is designed to educate, inform and provide connectivity for attendees, including content producers, exhibitors and buyers from around the world. NATPE's LASI will then proceed with a marketplace and screenings from independent producers from May 14th through 17th.
The one day event will be headlined by a keynote presentation titled the Global Content Executives Forum. In the keynote, top decision-makers from the world's most popular audience destinations, networks and platforms will discuss the opportunities and challenges of co-production in today's international content paradigm. The rest of the program will consist of screenings from independent producers and networking opportunities crafted to bring attendees together. There will also be an International Co-Production Data Presentation. All four sessions are open to NATPE LASI badge holders. More information on each session can be found here.
As the event grows in its second year, NATPE looks forward to seeing new buyers from new regions. Last year those were represented by Eastern Europe (Kosovo, Moldova, Russia); AFRICA (Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa); and APAC (Asia-Pacific region: China, Japan, India, Philippines).
Registration is open for Qualified Buyers, Exhibitors and Attendees at this link. Registration is $50.00. Housing information can be found here.
