My Damn Channel and BBC Worldwide Productions are unveiling a first look at the highly-anticipated new comedy series Gigi: Almost American starting today at: www.MyDamnChannel.com/Gigi. The 10-episode series will premiere on March 23, with new episodes airing weekly on Wednesdays. The series is a co-production between BBC Worldwide Productions and My Damn Channel.

Gigi was created by Josh Gad and his fellow comedy troupe members of The Lost Nomads - Ty Clancey, Ida Darvish, Tyler Moore and Kevin Larsen - and developed with BBC Worldwide Productions. Gad stars as Gigi, a loveable foreigner with dreams of fitting in as an "average American." Blending physical comedy, absurd situations, and an unconventional love story, this slapstick comedy series follows Gigi's adventures where he will let nothing - not his lack of street smarts, nor his incomprehensible grasp of the English language - stand in his way.

Gad is a TV, film, and stage actor who stars in the upcoming Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, from South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker. Mormon previews on Broadway beginning February 24 and the show opens March 24. Gad's credits also include Love and Other Drugs, 21 and Back to You, as well as his recurring role as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

BBC Worldwide Productions is based in Los Angeles and develops and produces scripted and non-scripted projects for U.S. cable and broadcast networks, as well as digital platforms. The Production Company is responsible for the smash hits Dancing with the Stars (ABC), Top Gear (HISTORY), What Not to Wear (TLC) and Torchwood: Miracle Day (Starz). BBC Worldwide Productions is one of seven core businesses within BBC Worldwide, the main commercial arm and wholly-owned subsidiary of British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
