Country singer Miranda Lambert will make her acting debut in tonight's episode of NBC's LAW AND ORDER: SVU. The detectives arrest the producer, but the situation turns dangerous when his distraught son (guest star Monaghan) takes drastic action in order to get his father out of jail.

Meanwhile, Benson and Executive ADA David Haden (guest star Harry Connick, Jr.) grow closer. Also starring Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen), Richard Belzer (Sergeant John Munch) and Kelli Giddish (Detective Amanda Rollins.) Special appearance by Linus Roache (Bureau Chief Mike Cutter.)

In discussing her upcoming role in an interview with TV Guide, the singer commented, "I had to really pull from my gut on this whole role I was playing because I'm a very, strong confident person. I really had to really transform my personality which I wasn't sure I could do until I got on the set and sort of just tried to put myself in her shoes."
