Millennium Films Acquires Inon Shampanier's THE STRATEGIST

According to Deadline, Millennium Films has picked up the thriller THE STRATEGIST, written and to be directed by Inon Shampanier.

THE STRATEGIST centers on a chess-expert-turned-CIA-recruit approached by the government to help undermine an equally crafty and well-protected dictator.

Shampanier's recent projects include The Millionaire Tour, a project he co-wrote with his wife Natalie, starring Dominic Monaghan, Jordan Belfi and Rick Gomez. He has also written and directed two short films -- 8 Ball and The Last Tango.
