San Francisco's Midi Matilda-Skyler Kilborn and Logan Grimé-are the personification of modern music. The electro-pop duo are more than happy to do everything themselves: songwriting, instruments, audio engineering, producing, video production, artwork, social content and live shows. Every month this year, the band will debut a new song, and with it, an hour long video and audio podcast called Midi Moments. Today, the band announce they have signed an exclusive contract for Midi Moments to be a show on the GaS Digital Network.

"We're really excited to team up with the GaS Digital Network. We think releasing music in a podcast format with a deep dive into each tune is a fresh idea, and GaS is a great partner," explains Grimé.

Midi Moments hour long videos will be filmed with a 360 camera and 2 drones, and will discuss the making of each month's new song, and other topics related to the band members. Each single's Midi Moments will also be audio recorded onto a cassette tape, that will be customized to represent each track. Then, that tape will be hidden at, or close to, the location where the experience was filmed. Listen to the first Midi Moments for "Apple Pie" single here.

Ralph Sutton, owner of GaS, elaborates, "We're always looking to push the podcast envelope forward... so when the Midi Matilda guys came to me with the idea of releasing a song with their podcast episode, we at GaS Digital Network jumped at the chance. Working with comedians, musicians and various content creators who continue to want to look at this platform in new and exciting ways is what we are all about."

"We don't want Midi Matilda to just be about people listening to songs," says Grimé. "We have a lot of great ideas: we want this to be an experience. We want to create cool stuff that's different ... but still us."

Midi Matilda will play a single release performance at School Night in Los Angeles on Monday, Feb. 18 (8pm),free with RSVP. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements on the horizon.
