According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael J. Fox is currently shopping a single-camera comedy project which is based on his own life. The comedy was penned by 'Arrested Development' writer Sam Laybourne. The actor would star in the Will Gluck-helmed project from Sony Pictures Television.
According to the report, all four broadcast networks are considering the project which Sony hopes to launch some time next year.
Fox, best known for his role as Alex Keaton on the long-running CBS comedy 'Family Ties' was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991. He has recently made guest appearances on CBS' The Good Wife, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and FX's Rescue Me. His other TV credits include Boston Legal and Sin City. In film, the actor starred in the Back to the Future trilogy and lent his voice to the Stuart Little animated features.
