Illusionist Michael Grandinetti is always up for a challenge. For the past 20 years, Grandinetti has made a name for himself across the country with such stunning feats as levitating in a stadium while surrounded by 70,000 people, causing a 200 piece orchestra to read the minds of an audience and play songs only thought of, and even making a 20ft American Flag appear on the White House Lawn for Easter.

Returning as one of the featured performers on The CW's hit series MASTERS OF ILLUSION, Grandinetti, who has been named by Entertainment Weekly as "a great magician who can truly communicate with a TV audience" and by Hidden Remote as "a fan favorite", is aiming to top his past performances in all three seasons with a batch of brand new illusions that combine his signature elements of drama, suspense, and comedy, with music, personality, and audience participation.

Since the show's premiere in the summer of 2013, Michael has performed some of his favorite illusions on the show's Hollywood stage, including levitating an unsuspecting audience member under bright lights, shrinking a dancer to the size of a basketball, causing live goldfish to appear from his bare hands, and vanishing from high above the stage and reappearing in the center of the audience. This season will include Michael's 20th illusion that he has performed on the series (a stunning, never before seen illusion with a 40" spinning buzz saw).

Currently airing in over 100 countries around the world and hosted by actor Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman), MASTERS OF ILLUSION is a show the entire family can enjoy, with weekly illusions, escapes, comedy magic, sleight of hand, and more, all performed before a live audience. Premiering on June 30 at 8pm, 13 all-new episodes were filmed for the season. A few of the new surprises Michael has in store this year include:

Melting Through An Industrial Fan
Michael attempts to pass his body through the spinning metal blades of a 5ft diameter industrial aircraft fan, and hopefully emerge unharmed on the other side.

The Mind Reading Mouse
In this surprising effect, Michael uses a live, white mouse to read the mind of an audience volunteer. This has to be seen to be believed.

Visible Buzz Sawing in Half
Giving one of magic's classics a modern touch, Michael visibly divides a girl in half with a 40" spinning buzz saw. Then, without any cover, her halves are separated across the table top, as she continues to smile, laugh and interact with the audience.

The Borrowed Object Challenge
Watch as Michael creates a slow motion close-up illusion, as a borrowed pencil dramatically melts right through the center of a borrowed twenty dollar bill. This effect, which takes place only inches away from the audience, looks like a Hollywood special effect, LIVE.

Test Conditions Levitation
Known for his stunning levitation illusions, Michael suspends a dancer in mid-air while the camera films the magic from 360 degrees.

Michael's career history includes performances on television series and specials (NBC's The World's Most Dangerous Magic, CW's Masters of Illusion, Pop's Don't Blink, FOX's Bones, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, SportsCenter, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Hollywood Christmas Parade), for NFL halftime and NBA halftime shows in massive stadiums and arenas, with Oscar-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch and symphony orchestras, in theaters, casinos, and arenas around the country and even at The White House. Michael was also the first illusionist ever invited to appear in the National Independence Day Parade in Washington DC, where he levitated a girl high above a float as it moved down Constitution Avenue as 250,000 people lined the streets.

Masters of Illusion is produced by Associated Television International, with executive producers David McKenzie (The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," "Marie"), Al Schwartz (The 38th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards," "The Golden Globe Awards" 2013 & 2014, "The Gulf is Back"), Gay Blackstone ("The World Magic Awards 2007-2009) and David Martin ("Marie"), along with co-executive producers Justin Pierce ("The Rocky Saga: Going the Distance") and Jim Romanovich ("Inside Story: Ferris Bueller's Day Off"). Sony Pictures Television will handle the show's international distribution.
