Michael E. Knight to Guest on Lifetime's DROP DEAD DIVA, 7/14

TVGuide.com reports exclusively that Michael E. Knight will pay a visit to Lifetime's DROP DEAD DIVA next month. The actor is best known for his role as Tad Martin on the long-running ABC sudser 'All My Children.'

According to the report, the three-time Emmy winner will appear on the July 14 episode in the role of Charles Van Horn, described as "a lawsuit-happy curmudgeon who is representing himself in a court case involving his dog's unplanned pregnancy."

The actor tells TV Guide, "My character is totally one of those, "Hey, you kids, get off my lawn!" kind of guys. He's the ultimate a--hole neighbor who is suing for $250,000 because somebody's Rottweiler impregnated his Maltese. He's a lawyer in a loveless marriage, a real s.o.b. whose only thrill in life is suing people."

Drop Dead Diva airs Sundays, 9/8c on Lifetime.
