Michael C. Hall, CLEOPATRA Coleman and Bokeem Woodbine join Boyd Holbrook in the cast of upcoming Netflix project "In the Shadow of the Moon".
The film is directed by Jim Mickle and written by Gregory Weidman and Geoff Tock.
"In the Shadow of the Moon" tells the story of a Philly police officer struggling with a lifelong obsession to track a mysterious serial killer whose crimes defy explanation.
The film is being produced by Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Rian Cahill for Automatik, Ben Pugh for 42, Linda Moran and Jim Mickle for Nightshade.
The cast is comprised of Boyd Holbrook (Logan, Narcos), Emmy nominee and Golden Globe/SAG winner Michael C. Hall (Safe, Cold In July), CLEOPATRA Coleman (The Last Man on Earth, White Famous), and Emmy Award nominee Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo (TV),Spider-Man: Homecoming).
The Netflix film is currently filming and will be released worldwide in 2019.
Michael C. Hall recently starred in the Broadway revival of Hedwig and the Angry Inch and the off-Broadway production of Lazarus. Hall starred in Will Eno's Broadway production of The Realistic Jones, directed by Sam Gold and co-starring Toni Collette, Tracy Letts, and Marisa Tomei in 2014. He made his Broadway debut in 1999 as the Emcee in Sam Mendes' revival of Cabaret and portrayed Billy Flynn in 2002 in the revival of Chicago. Off-Broadway, Hall's credits include the Roundabout Theatre Company's Mr. Marmalade, Cymbeline, Macbeth, Timon of Athens, and Henry V at the Public Theater/New York Shakespeare Festival, The English TEACHERS for MCC, the Manhattan Theatre Club's Corpus Christi, Romeo and Juliet at Center Stage, R Shoman at Williamstown and Skylight at the Mark Taper Forum. His television credits include Dexter? (SAG, Golden Globe awards; five Emmy nominations) and Six Feet Under? (two SAG ensemble awards, Emmy nomination). On film, Hall recently appeared in Cold in July and Kill Your Darlings.
