Merle Dandridge Upped to Recurring Guest Star on MURPHY BROWN

Merle Dandridge (Greenleaf) will join season 1 of MURPHY BROWN on CBS as a recurring guest star.

Dandridge will play the team's arrogant CRC network boss, Diana Macomber. She's a no-nonsense, tough-as-nails career woman who is proud to have worked her way up to where she is today.

Born in Japan and raised in Nebraska, Dandridge has made an indelible mark on stage, television and video games. She began her career on Broadway with roles in Spamalot, Rent, Aida, Tarzan, and Jesus Christ Superstar, and she originated a principle role in the Tony® Award-winning Broadway revival ofOnce on This Island. She currently stars in OWN's hit series GREENLEAF in addition to her previous roles in SONS OF ANARCHY and The Night Shift.
