Meredith Vieira to Host Google+ Hangout, 11/25

Television personality Meredith Vieira will be hosting a live Google+ hangout in celebration of the coming Thanksgiving holiday. The hangout comes in part of Vieira's recently launched premium Youtube network LIVES.

Vieira will invite special guests to join her, including:

Marlo Thomas, the actress and producer who is also the National Outreach Director for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. The hospital was founded by Danny Thomas, a struggling and aspiring entertainer in his youth, who prayed to a statue of St. Jude, the patron saint of hopeless causes, begging for help. In less than a year, Danny was earning a considerable living as an entertainer and was respected across the country, winning several awards. He was so grateful he erected the hospital to give back to his community.

Mayor Svante Myrick, who at just 24-years-old, is the youngest mayor to ever have been elected in the city of Ithaca, NY. His family was poor and homeless at times while growing up, but that did not deter his motivations of being a strong leader, graduating from The Cornell University and using his position to give back to his community.
