E! announced today that Melissa Rivers will be the new co-host of E!'s "Fashion Police" when the popular comedy show returns Monday, August 31st. Rivers will appear alongside current panelists Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, while continuing to serve as executive producer on the series. In each episode, the trio will be joined by two additional rotating celebrity guests, including comedians, stylists, actors and more. "Fashion Police" returns for six episodes surrounding some of the biggest fashion and pop culture events starting Monday, August 31st with coverage of MTV's Video Music Awards.
"As an executive producer since the beginning, Melissa helped shape 'Fashion Police' into an iconic TV series that couples fashion with comedy," said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Programming and Development for E!. "We are pleased to now also feature Melissa in front of the 'Fashion Police' cameras, as she joins returning panelists Giuliana and Brad. And with the added flavor of rotating panelists, the show will deliver fresh, different and unpredictable fashion reviews with each new episode."

Melissa's professional accomplishments are extensive and inspiring. Together with her mother Joan Rivers, she created the Red Carpet franchise and phenomenon, and also starred in four seasons of WEtv's hit reality series, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? Earlier this year, Melissa developed and anchored the special interview series "A Conversation With" for Entertainment Tonight. Rivers remains an in-demand speaker, and is the New York Times best-selling author of The Book of Joan: Tales of Mirth, Mischief, and Manipulation (Crown Archetype), which was released in May 2015. Melissa is a board member of "God's Love We Deliver" and the spokesperson for "Our House Grief Center" in Los Angeles. Rivers currently lives in Los Angeles with her son, Cooper, and their two dogs.
