ABC Family debuts the ultimate reality dance show, Dancing Fools featuring the best, funniest, most outrageous and memorable user-generated dances caught on camera and presented in front of a live studio audience. Hosted by Melissa Peterman ("Baby Daddy") with help from VJ Guy Torrey, each week features a dance-off between competitors for a $10,000 prize. The series premiere airs Wednesday, May 29 at 9pm ET/PT.
This week, the show kicks off with the dance video that started it all-"Numa Numa." Back in 2006, Gary Brolsma was just a man with a video camera, a song in his heart and access to the internet. From there, people began to submit their own dance routines, and the internet dance craze began. Now, Melissa and Guy welcome "The Numa Numa Guy" into the "Dancing Fools" Hall of Fools.
Plus, a live dance-off that pits a trio of brothers (aka "The Wolf Pack") from San Diego, California against a group of teenage besties (aka "The Fat Five") from Orlando Park, Illinois, for the $10,000 prize.
Created and executive-produced by Phil Gurin, "Dancing Fools" is produced by The Gurin Company ("The Singing Bee," "Oh Sit!"). It is hosted by
Melissa Peterman and features VJ Guy Torry.
