Emmy Award-winning Hollywood Director Rob Schiller was tapped to direct the all new Melissa & Joey Christmas Special that airs on ABC Family tonight at 8:00 pm ET/PT as part of the 25 Days of Christmas programming.

"Melissa & Joey" stars Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson, with guest star Jaime Pressly. In "A New Kind of Christmas," Jaime Pressly drops by as Mel's sister Meredith, who comes home from prison on furlough to celebrate Christmas with the kids and Mel, and seems unruffled by Joe's obvious animosity towards her.

One of ABC Family's most popular sitcoms, "Melissa & Joey" has been renewed for a fourth season, making this the network's first comedy to reach 100 episodes.

Rob Schiller, president of R&B JAAMZS Inc. said, "It's always a pleasure to work with Melissa, Joey and the entire cast and crew of the show. This year's Christmas special is a show that should not be missed."

Schiller is well known and respected for his talents directing and producing more than 250 episodes of sitcoms, including other episodes of Melissa & Joey on ABC Family, Sullivan & Son on TBS, The Exes on TVLand and Friends with Better Lives on CBS. For nine years he directed the CBS hit comedy 'The King of Queens,' as well as 'Two and a Half Men,' 'Wendell & Vinnie,' and 'Til Death."
