Mel Gibson Drama Among Lineup for 73rd Annual Venice Film Festival

The line up for the 73rd Venice Film Festival was announced today during a press conference in Rome. Among the films to be featured will be entries directed by Denis Villeneuve, Pablo Larrain, Derek Cianfrance, Tom Ford, and Terrence Malick. Mel Gibson's Hacksaw Ridge will compete in the out of competition category.

The 73rd Venice International Film Festival will take place on the Lido from August 31st to September 10th. The event is directed by Alberto Barbera and organized by the Biennale di Venezia chaired by Paolo Baratta. Check out the full line-up below:
