According to Deadline, TV and stage actress Megan Mullally has signed on to become a regular on the Fox comedy series BREAKING IN.  Mullally will play the new boss of the show's firm Contra Security, which had previously been run by Oz, played by actor Christian Slater.

The addition of Mullally comes at a time when the show is undergoing major creative changes as it heads into its second season.  Show creators Adam F. Goldberg and Seth Gordon are hoping to make a more "office based" storyline, according to Deadline.

Season 2 is set to begin production in early 2012 and will become part of Fox's new two-hour comedy block for the network's Tuesday night lineup.  The creative team of Goldberg and Gordon will be executive producing the show, while Sony TV and Happy Madison will serve as producers.

The deal will allow Mullally to continue her recurring roles on the sitcoms Parks & Recreation and Happy Endings.
