Matthew Fox Calls LOST Finale 'Profound'

When it comes to spoilers for the series finale of ABC's 'LOST,' there are very few specifics floating around the internet, or even entertainment reporters' water coolers, unless you count the supposed "leaked" script pages recently posted on io9.com.

Fans are left to decipher the vague comments from various cast members and creatives as they do their various talk show circuit appearances, including the latest by star Matthew Fox.

Fox spoke with the Hollywood Reporter and discussed some of the emotional hardships both he and his character Jack went through while filming the final episode.

"It has been an incredibly long month," Fox said. "The last part of the show, what Jack Shepard goes through, physically and emotionally, was a lot of work and really draining."

The actor went on to describe his feelings about the way 'LOST's' story wraps up. "On a subconscious level, I sort of expected some of it. But, there's parts of it that are a huge revelation and really beautiful... I think that it could be very profound."
