Award-winning actress and author Mary-Louise Parker will be featured on an episode of THE BEST PLACE TO BE, a new series produced by Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere at Flavor Unit for Travel Channel. Parker recently wrapped production in Nairobi, Kenya. The series invites viewers to discover the world through the eyes of Hollywood's hottest A-List celebrities as they take fans on an all-access trip to their favorite cities around the world.
"I have a very special connection to Africa," said Parker. "For me, there's nowhere like it. The people, the land, and, of course, the wildlife. I've been here many times but Kenya's the place I can't get enough of. We're going to hit all my favorite stops - a little time in the city, special side trips no one else knows about, and of course we'll get out on safari."
