Mario Lopez Joins FESTIVAL PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL 2013 Lineup

TV host, actor and nationally Syndicated radio personality MARIO LOPEZ is the latest addition to the talent line-up for FESTIVAL PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL Presented by Target. Set for this Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Aug. 31 and Sunday, Sept. 1) in San Antonio, Texas, the multi-faceted celebration of Hispanic entertainment and culture offers free open-to-the-public daytime events that presents the best of Latino culture and community, along with live performances (ticketed events) each evening at the Alamodome(daily breakdown below). LOPEZ will participate in a Q&A and autograph signing as part of the free daytime activities at The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center on Sunday, Sept 1. He will also serve as one of the host of the evening concerts on Sunday, Sept 1.

The evening line-up, featuring performances from some of the biggest names in Latino music including Gloria Estefan, Alejandro Fernandez, Demi Lovato, Wisin Y Yandel, Jencarlos Canela, Maite Perroni and a host of others, is as follows:

In addition, VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer free special event park and ride service to the People En Español Festival in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center and the Alamodome Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Park and ride service will be offered to Festival from the Crossroads Park and Ride, the Randolph Boulevard Park and Ride, and the Frank Madla Transit Center from 8:30 a.m. through midnight on both days, and return service from the Alamodome will run for 45 minutes after the end of the concerts.

The presenting sponsor for Festival PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL 2013 is Target and major sponsors include Coca-Cola, Jeep and MundoFox. Official sponsors are Bexar County, Interjet, HBO Latino, Pine Sol, the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau.
