Ladies and gentleman of the press, breaking news, Mario Cantone is set to make his first appearance as the newly appointed White House Communications Director, Anthony Scaramucci, on tonight's all-new episode of THE PRESIDENT SHOW at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
The President Show has become the summer's hottest political satire destination. Cantone joins an impressive cast of performers who have skewered politicians and Trump cronies, including Executive Producer Adam Pally as Donald Trump Jr., John Gemberling as Steve Bannon and James Adomian as Bernie Sanders.
Earlier this week
Comedy Central announced the extension of
THE PRESIDENT SHOW for an additional seven episodes for a total of 22 episodes. In the world of The President Show, Trump (played by series creator Anthony Atamanuik) is bypassing the crooked media by hosting a late-night show direct from the Oval Office. No unfair questions from reporters, no awkward photo ops with German ladies, and no bedtimes. Just a fun show where he can put his unique Trumpian spin on such late-night staples as desk segments, field pieces and guest interviews. Vice President Mike Pence is featured as his sidekick, played by Peter Grosz.
The President Show airs weekly on Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT following
THE DAILY SHOW WITH TREVOR NOAH and is available to stream the following day on cc.com/thepresidentshow and the
Comedy Central App. Patriots can follow
THE PRESIDENT SHOW on Twitter, become a constituent on Facebook and follow the greatest host in late night on Twitter at @LateNightDonald. Beginning Thursday, September 28,
THE PRESIDENT SHOW will premiere at midnight, following Comedy Central's new late night series The Opposition with Jordan Klepper.
Mario Cantone is represented by Insurge-Ent.
The President Show is executive produced by Anthony Atamanuik, Peter Grosz, Adam Pally (Making History, The Mindy Project, Happy Endings), Jason Ross (Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,
THE DAILY SHOW with Jon Stewart), and 3 Arts Entertainment's Olivia Gerke, Josh Lieberman and Greg Walter with Suzanne Fagel and Christine Nangle as Co-Executive Producers. The series is produced by Pally's Clone
WOLF Productions, 3 Arts and directed by Andre Allen. Sarah Babineau and Ari Pearce are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
