Tony and Oscar winning actress Marcia Gay Harden will soon be returning to ABC.
Following her stint on the network's canceled comedy TROPHY WIFE last season, Variety has confirmed that Harden has booked a recurring role on HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER. She will first appear when the show returns from its mideason finale.
No further details on Harden's character were announced.

"How to Get Away with Murder" is produced by ABC Studios."How to Get Away with Murder" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
In 1993, Harden debuted on Broadway in the role of Harper Pitt in Tony Kushner's ANGELS IN AMERICA. The role earned her critical acclaim and she received a Tony Award nomination (Best Featured Actress in a Play).
In 2009, Harden returned to Broadway in GOD OF CARNAGE and received a Tony Award for her work in the play. Harden's work in film includes MYSTIC RIVER, POLLOCK, and INTO THE WILD. She's also appeared on innumerous television shows, including LAW & ORDER: SVU, DAMAGES, and ROYAL PAINS. She can currently be seen on ABC's freshman comedy TROPHY WIFE.
