Mamie Gummer to Join Jennifer Aniston in CAKE

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Mamie Gummer will star opposite Jennifer Aniston in the upcoming film CAKE, directed by Daniel Barnz from a script by Patrick Tobin.

CAKE centers on a woman (Aniston) who becomes caught up in the suicide of a member of her chronic pain support group. Gummer will play 'Bonnie', Aniston's personal trainer.

Gummer will next be seen on the big screen in Echo Park. Her recent TV credits include The Money, Backstrom, The Good Wife, Emily Owens, M.D., The Big C and Off the Map.

Gummer has appeared on Broadway in 2008's Les Liaisons Dangereuses, as well as off-Broadway's The School for Lies, Uncle Vanya, Hunting and Gathering, The Water's Edge and Mr. Marmalade.
