Malcom-Jamal Warner to Guest Star on NBC's COMMUNITY

According to the Hollywood Reporter, actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner is set to guest star on an upcoming episode of NBC's COMMUNITY.

The actor has previously appeared on the show playing Andre, the ex-husband of Yvette Nicole Brown's character Shirley.  On the show, the couple had a baby together and recently rekindled their relationship.

Brown recently told the Hollywood Reporter, "There’s a bit of growth in Shirley’s relationship with Andre. You get to see more of why they were together and where they’re going from here... In this episode that’s coming up, that we just shot, you’ll see how that relationship has progressed. It’s always great when Malcolm’s back." Contineued the actressm "Malcolm is actually returning in one of the episodes after Christmas, so I don’t know when we’ll see him.  It’s such a good episode, and we’ll have to wait for NBC to find a place for us to see that one."

NBC has recently announced that the show will be taking a break and has not yet revealed when it will be returning to its line-up. 

COMMUNITY airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
