Variety reports that Maggie Gyllenhaal has signed on to join the cast of FRANK, a comedy film from Lenny Abrahamson. The actress joins previously announced cast members Domhnall Gleeson, Michael Fassbender, Scoot McNairy, musician Carla Azar, and actor and musician Francois Civil. The Irish-UK film is produced by Ed Guiney, David Barron and Stevie Lee for Element Pictures and Runaway Fridge. Filming is set to begin this month on location in New Mexico and Ireland.
