Variety reports that MTV has renewed its long-running reality series The Real World for a 29th season, which will take place in San Francisco. The show last made its home in the Bay 20 years ago.
"San Francisco is the location of one of our most memorable seasons of 'The Real World'," executive producer Jon Murray told Variety. "The city has always been a great place for young people to explore who they are and what they want to do with their lives."

This could reportedly be the series' final season since it debuted in 1992, according to sources.
