MTV will continue its Tuesday night cable domination when Season Two of the network's fan favorite reality series "The City" premieres Tuesday, April 27th at 10:30p.m. In its second season, new betrayals and new alliances add up to 12 all-new, jaw-dropping episodes as Whitney Port, Roxy Olin, Olivia Palermo and Erin Kaplan continue to traverse the New York City fashion industry and their relationships with each other. During the first season, fans were captivated as Whitney transformed her life by leaving Los Angeles behind for New York where she risked everything to start her own clothing line. When the show returns, Whitney and the rest of the cast will learn the hard way that in New York City climbing your way to the top means doing it alongside both friends and enemies.

"Season One of 'The City' marked the beginning of an incredible run for us on Tuesday nights. We have dominated that night for two consecutive quarters, especially with females 18-24," said Liz Gateley, Senior Vice President of Series Development for MTV. "'The City' gives our viewers an inside, authentic view into the fashion business and each week, they love tuning in to root for Whitney as she tries to maneuver the shark-infested waters of that world. This new season promises more high stakes as the entire cast takes on new roles in the NYC fashion scene."

When Season Two premieres, Whitney gets a last-minute, chance of a lifetime: her own show at New York Fashion Week. After the chaos and fanfare of showing her line in the Bryant Park tents subside, Whitney has more to do than ever in order to prove herself as a viable, emerging designer. First up, is creating a new line for the new season and learning from Kelly Cutrone the best way to promote herself and her brand. She still has Roxy in her corner - and Roxy owes her - for giving her a place to crash and for getting her a job at People's Revolution, but Roxy is learning that she's too strong-minded to live in Whitney's shadow.

At ELLE Magazine, Olivia and Erin are tasked by Joe Zee to find some way to get along. However, their competition is far from over as Olivia is offered an on-camera job by Joe. But Erin is at the top of her game, and sees through Olivia now more than ever. While climbing the ladder at one of the largest fashion magazines in the world, these two girls are about to discover there's only room for one at the top.
