MTV's 'Real World' Delivers Best Premiere in 5 Seasons

The season premiere of "The Real World: San Diego" was the best debut in five seasons and the #1 original cable series of the night. Averaging a 2.1 rating among P12-34, "The Real World: San Diego" bested the season premiere of "The Real World: Las Vegas" by +17%. "The Real World: San Diego" ranked #1 in the 10 o'clock hour across all of cable among P12-34 and #1 across all of television among F12-34. Nearly 2 million viewers tuned in to the newest installment of MTV's groundbreaking reality series.

In next week's episode of "The Real World: San Diego" airing on Wednesday, October 5, Sam and Nate pull an alarming prank on the other roommates, while sparks fly between Zach and Ashley. Meanwhile, a night of drinking causes Frank to become belligerent and he has to deal with the aftermath the next day.
