Last night's debut of MTV2's new original series "MTV2's Guy Code" is the network's most watched original series premiere ever with P12-34, an +85% increase to the time period. "MTV2's Guy Code" is MTV2's highest rated series premiere since 2006, delivering a 0.34 P12-34 rating.

In MTV2's core MALE-ENNIAL demo, the premiere averaged a 0.43 M12-34 rating, and more than doubled its number of males 12-34 in the time period. Among total viewers, "MTV2's Guy Code" improved its time period by +69%.

In addition, social media discussion around the network and the show took over Twitter with @MTV_2 notching the #1 most social cable network, and #GUYCODE ranking as # 1 most social cable program and #2 across all television behind FOX's "Glee."

"MTV2's Guy Code" is the ultimate guide to the laws of manhood with original weekly episodes airing on Tuesdays at 11 pm ET/PT. During each half-hour comedic episode, viewers learn the ins and outs of the special code that exists between bros, told through talking-head style commentators, absurd humor, and funny and inappropriate animation. The show features today's pop culture entertainers, top comics, rappers and specialized experts, to unearth the rules for any and every situation in life. Next week's episode will feature segments on Dancing, Bathroom Etiquette, Exercise and The Morning After.

In addition, guys and girls everywhere can give their own take on Guy Code through the brand new "Guy Code" Facebook app (www.Facebook.com/GuyCode). The app allows fans to submit photos of Guy Code violations and solicit feedback from others. For those just looking to offer their opinion, a gallery will appear when they enter the app where they can comment.

Having argued about Guy Code several times on MTV's Jersey Shore, Vinny Guadagnino will make special guest appearances on the show throughout the ten episode long season. Other talent on the show includes: Alesha Rene? ("E! News Now," "BET Now"), Andrew Schulz (comedian, MTV's "New Year's Eve Bash," Music Choice's "Certified"), April Rose (model, Maxim "Hometown Hottie"), Charlamagne Tha God (radio personality, entertainer, producer), Chrissy Teigen (model, Sports Illustrated Swim Issue), Dan St. Germain (comedian, "World of Jenks," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"), Dean Edwards (comedian, "Saturday Night Live"), Donnell Rawlings (comedian, Chappelle Show), Johanna Botta (actress, MTV's "The Real World," "One Life to Live"), Jon Gabrus (comedian, MTV's "The Substitute," "Gabrus on Rugby"), Jordan Carlos (comedian, "The Colbert Report"), Julian McCullough (comedian, VH1 "40 Funniest Fails," "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon"), Lil Duval (comedian, "Hood State of the Union"), Melanie Iglesias (model, Maxim "Hometown Hottie") and Peter Rosenberg (Hot 97 DJ and Host), among others.

"MTV2's Guy Code" was developed by Ryan Ling who also serves as Executive Producer. Paul Ricci and Darin Byrne are Executive Producers for MTV2. Andrew Stuckey is Director. The series is an original production by MTV Networks.
