MTV2's NICK CANNON PRESENTS is Highest Rated Telecast in Network History

MTV2 had its highest rated total day in network history on Tuesday, July 9 with "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out" and "Ain't That America" with Lil Duval" leading the way. The two series are the highest-rated telecasts in MTV2 history, with both shows winning their time periods across all original series on television among P12-34.

Premiering on MTV2 as a remixed version of the first "Wild 'N Out" incarnation, "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out" delivered a strong 1.3 rating and drew in 1.1 million total viewers, making it the highest rated telecast in MTV2 history. Additionally, the series ranked among the top five cable shows on Tuesday. It also performed strongly among teens, scoring a 2.9 rating among male teens and a 2.1 rating among female teens.

New series "Ain't That America with Lil Duval" debuted following "Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out" with a 0.9 P12-34 rating, making it the second highest-rated telecast in MTV2 history. The premiere also ranked as the #1 original cable series in its time slot among P12-34, and averaged nearly 800,000 total viewers. Among male teens, the show garnered a 1.8 rating.

The series blends lightning fast comedic improv with head-to head competition and cutting edge entertainment that's more rap battle than comedic stage, providing a fresh and raw intensity. Next week's episode features Mac Miller joining the cast for games including "So Fly," "Pause" and "Remix." Miller will also perform as a musical guest. Future series guests include Mike Epps, A$AP Rocky, Macklemore, 2 Chainz, Machine Gun Kelly and more!

The new series features comedian Lil Duval and friends sharing the craziest viral videos from every corner of the country, showing America's biggest traditions from food and fitness to sports and style. Every week, Duval crowns the American Hero. In next week's episode, Lil Duval, Chris Distefano, Draya Michele and James Davis take on parenting and hidden talents in America.

The recently wrapped "Guy Code" season three was the highest-rated and most-watched original season in network history, in addition to being the No. 1 original series in its time period across all TV for male teens. "Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family" was No. 1 in its time period for original cable series among all teens and is the highest-rated first season for an original MTV2 series.
