MTV to Launch New ARE YOU THE ONE-Themed 'Match Machine' Facebook App

MTV's wildly popular dating reality social experiment, 'Are You The One?,' returns on Monday, October 6 at 10pm ET/PT.

Helping fans get into the spirit of finding their perfect match, MTV is launching a newly revamped 'Match Machine' Facebook app that will scour your friend list, and through the power of computer algorithms, will uncover your level of compatibility with individual friends as well as call out the cast member from this season that you are most compatible with. Fans will also have the chance to hand pick a Facebook friend to put into the computerized 'Truth Booth' that - just like in the show - will reveal if you and the partner you picked are destined for love, should remain in the friend zone or somewhere in between.

In addition, MTV is launching a brand new 'Perfect Match' game from Joust. Last season, we saw fans organically creating their own grids, spreadsheets, SURVIVOR leagues and office pools to try and figure out which cast members were perfect matches. This season, diehards will rejoice as we've created the ultimate point-driven trivia, survivor, fantasy game all mashed into one. The fan who accumulates the most points at the end of the season will be flown to the reunion taping to meet the cast!
