MTV presents the "Hip-Hop Homecoming" movie marathon, airing today, October 13, beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET/PT, featuring an exclusive first look at the highly-anticipated action-adventure presented by Quentin Tarantino, THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS. The never-before-seen footage from the new film by writer/director RZA will air in primetime during 50 Cents' GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN', following the premieres of the Method Man and Redman comedy HOW HIGH, the Notorious B.I.G. biopic NOTORIOUS – featuring a special deleted scene – and Eminem's hip-hop drama 8 MILE.

The movie marathon will also celebrate the recently announced new series "The Week in Jams" that will premiere on Sunday, October 28, at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT on MTV2. Hosts DJ Envy, Charlamagne Tha God, Nessa and MTV News's Sway Calloway will be on hand throughout the day and night to deliver the latest in the world of hip-hop and talk about the upcoming series. Fans can interact with "The Week in Jams" crew during the marathon on Twitter by using #hiphophomecoming.

About THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS:

Quentin Tarantino presents THE MAN WITH THE IRON FISTS, an action-adventure set for release on Friday, November 2, 2012 that is inspired by kung fu classics as interpreted by Tarantino's longtime collaborators RZA and Eli Roth. Making his debut as a big-screen director, co-writer and leading man, RZA – alongside an exciting international cast led by Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu – tells the epic story of warriors, assassins and a lone outsider hero who all descend on one fabled village in China for a winner-take-all battle for a fortune in gold.

Blending astonishing martial-arts sequences from some of the masters of this world with the signature vision he brings as the leader of the Wu-Tang Clan and as one of hip-hop's most dominant figures of the past two decades, RZA embarks upon his most ambitious, stylized and thrilling project to date. Joining RZA, Crowe and Liu in the cast are Rick Yune, JAMIE CHUNG, Cung Le, David Bautista, Byron Mann, Pam Grier and Daniel Wu.

About "The Week in Jams":
Building upon the legacy of MTV2's venerable "Sucker Free Countdown," MTV2 will relaunch the series as "The Week in Jams," beginning Sunday, October 28 at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT. Where "Sucker Free Countdown" focused primarily on music, "The Week in Jams" expanded focus will include the latest in the hip hop lifestyle, from music to fashion, gear to sports and, of course, real talk. Fans will discover new artists, hear the loudest opinions, keep up with new trends from all over the country and sit in on hard-hitting interviews.

MTV has recruited a hip hop dream team of contributors that will serve as the hosts of "The Week in Jams" and also serve as reporters and writers to provide expert commentary across all of MTV's channels and screens including: mixtape legend, radio personality and television host DJ Envy, industry insider, radio personality and cast member of "MTV2's Guy Code" Charlamagne Tha God, Motown Records recording artist and songwriter Sofi Green, West Coast mover and shaker Maestro, and west coast radio personality and nationally syndicated nighttime radio host Nessa. They will join MTV's hip hop expert, Sway Calloway, a vanguard radio personality, record producer, hip-hop artist and MTV News Correspondent.
