MTV to Double Up with GIRL CODE on Tuesday Nights

MTV announced today that its giving viewers more "Girl Code" on Tuesday nights, with new episodes airing each week before and after the hit, scripted comedy series "Awkward." Starting tomorrow night, "Girl Code" will air at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT and again at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT, followed by "Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life" at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT. In the hilarious, all-new episodes of "Girl Code" tomorrow night, the girls discuss social networking, friends with benefits, lying, girls' night out, sexting, gynecologists and more!

"Girl Code," a spin-off of the successful comedic series "MTV2's Guy Code," is a strong and smart female driven comedy series bringing viewers a new, hilarious how-to manual full of over the top tips about the wonders and woes of womanhood, covering everything from frenemies, girl fights and cutting bathroom lines to dancing, drinking and dating. The new MTV series calls on female stand-up comics, actresses and musicians-and even a few guys-to weigh in on The Sisterhood that all girls share.

"Girl Code" is averaging a 1.3 P12-34 rating, and averages 1.2 million total viewers each week. "Girl Code" ranks as the #1 program across all TV in the time slot with W12-34.

Fans can also catch up on season 1 as MTV airs encore episodes from season 1 from 11:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. ET/PT.
