MTV Orders SCREAM to Series

According to Deadline, MTV has ordered its small screen adaptation of SCREAM to series.

The project has been granted a 10-episode first season, and will premiere in October 2015.

Amy Forsyth leads the series as 'Audrey Jensen,' and also stars Willa Fitzgerald ("Alpha House," "Royal Pains"), John Karna ("Premature," "The Neighbors"), Carlson Young ("Key and Peele," "The Kroll Show") and Amadeus Serafini in key roles. Jamie Travis ("For A Good Time Call" and "Faking It") directed the pilot.

MTV announced a pilot order to a series adaptation of the hit horror film franchise with Dimension TV in May 2013. Jill Blotevogel ("Harper's Island," "Ravenswood") is the executive producer and will showrun. Jay Beattie and Dan Dworkin ("Criminal Minds," "The Event," and "Revenge") wrote the original script. Under the Dimension TV production umbrella, Harvey and Bob Weinstein will executive produce. Additional Executive Producers are Wes Craven, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad.

SCREAM also just welcomed Bobby Campo, Connor Weil and Joel Gretsch to the cast. Scroll down to read their new character descriptions!
