MSNBC will present "Jon Stewart Has Left the Building" tonight, August 7, 2015 at 9 p.m. ET. Produced by the award-winning NBC News' Peacock Productions, the one-hour special will celebrate Jon Stewart's 16-year run as host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," highlight his top interviews and examine his influence on politics, entertainment and the news landscape.

The special includes interviews with Rachel Maddow, host of "The Rachel Maddow Show," and Reverend Al Sharpton, host of "PoliticsNation," who offer personal thoughts and reflections on Stewart's career.

Additional guests include "The Daily Show" co-creator Madeleine Smithberg; former co-executive producer Stewart Bailey; former "The Daily Show" correspondents Frank DeCaro, Beth Littleford and Lauren Weedman; former field producer Nick McKinney; Pulitzer Prize-winning author and presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin; HuffPost Live host Josh Zepps; and actor and Veteran Immersion Program alumnus August Dannehl.
