MSNBC to Air March on Washington 50th Anniversary Coverage, 8/28

MSNBC will present special coverage of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington on Wednesday, August 28. The day will include live coverage from both Washington, D.C. and New York with Chris Matthews anchoring live from the National Mall throughout the day beginning at 11AM ET. Following President Obama's remarks at approximately 4PM ET, MSNBC will present Dr. Martin Luther King's entire 'I Have a Dream' speech. And, Chris Hayes will host a special "All In" at 8PM ET live from Washington, D.C.

The special edition of "All In" will also air Dr. Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech with limited commercial interruption followed by commentary and reflection by Hayes and his MSNBC colleagues regarding the historic nature of Dr. King's words. The limited commercial presentation has been made possible by Bank of America.

MSNBC anchors and correspondents will share their own reflections on the civil rights movement and how they or people from their communities are 'Advancing the Dream.' Viewers are encouraged to share their own thoughts and photos related to 'Advancing the Dream' using the Twitter hash tag #AdvancingtheDream.
