The "March for Our Lives" special from 12-3pmET on Saturday beat Fox News and CNN in A25-54 and in total viewers. MSNBC averaged 389,000 viewers A25-54 - the best MSNBC rating in that time period since 9/3/2005 - and 1,812,000 total viewers - the best MSNBC rating since 4/5/2005.
MSNBC's full coverage and analysis of the rallies from 9am-5pm also beat Fox News and CNN in both A25-54 and total viewers. MSNBC averaged 330,000 viewers A25-54 - the best MSNBC rating in that time period since 1/21/2017 - and 1,516,000 in total viewers - the best MSNBC rating since 3/29/2003.
Other MSNBC programs on Saturday dominated cable news in A25-54, including "AM Joy" from 10am-12pm and a special "The Beat with Ari Melber" from 10-11pm.
Additionally, every hour from 11am to 8pm was #1 in total viewers. Every hour between 9am and 2am on MSNBC also beat CNN in total viewers.
