HEROES may live to see another day. On Xbox.
TVLine reports that MSN and Xbox execs are interested in rebooting NBC's HEROES, the cult hit created by Tim Kring, as an exclusive series available on Microsoft's gaming platform.
Details are slim-to-none at this point, but sources reportedly confirmed that MSN's reboot, should it ultimately be developed, will be comprised of "new stories and heroes, while mixing in cameos from the original series' cast."

HEROES, which wrapped after four seasons in 2010, starred Hayden Panettiere, Greg Grunberg, Masi Oka, Adrian Pasdar, Jack Coleman, James Kyson Lee, Zachary Quinto, Cristine Rose, Ali Larter, Dania Ramirez, Milo Ventimiglia, Sendhil Ramamurthy.
The series explored a world in which certain individuals possessed super-human powers, and the consequences and responsibilities that come with them.
The reboot would mark one of the first initiatives by MSN and Xbox to create original digital programming for the gaming platform.
