According to Variety, Netflix has renewed the original series for a second season. They made the announcement via the streaming service's official Twitter account on 11/29. The first season is currently streaming on Netflix, following the October premiere.
The series follows FBI agents attempting to understand and catch serial killers in the 1970s. They interview and analyze serial killers who have been caught, in hopes of applying their findings to solve open cases. Johnathan Groff (HAMILTON, SPRING AWAKENING) and Holt McCallany (JUSTICE LEAGUE, BLUE BLOODS) portray the two agents, while Cameron Britton plays the role of serial killer Ed Kemper.
The series opened to critical acclaim, and it currently has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Look below for the trailer for season one:
