NBC offers something for everyone during the holidays as it unveils a lineup of original seasonal programs that includes the new holiday variety special "A Michael Buble Christmas" on Tuesday, December 6 (8-9 p.m. ET), "The Sing-Off Holiday Special" on Monday, December 5 (8-10 p.m. ET) and "William & Kate: Inside the Royal Marriage" on Tuesday, December 13 (8-9 p.m. ET).
In addition, NBC will bring back the traditional tree-lighting special "Christmas in Rockefeller Center 2011" (Wednesday, November 30, 8-9 p.m. ET) while also featuring "The Biggest Loser: Where Are They Now?" (Wednesday, November 23, 9-11 p.m. ET). Likewise, the network will once again honor the United States armed forces as World Wrestling Entertainment® in conjunction with NBC, will air the fourth annual holiday special "WWE Tribute to the Troops" (Saturday, December 17, 9-10 p.m. ET).
"Saturday Night Live Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas" (Tuesday, December 20, 9-11 p.m. ET) celebrates the season with a two-hour special that features favorite "Saturday Night Live" holiday sketches including material with Alec Baldwin and the infamous troublemaker "Gilly" (played by Kristen Wiig).
"The Sing-Off Holiday Special" will be filled with holiday and inspirational songs performed by the winning groups from all three seasons, a compilation of lead singers from season three, a collegiate ensemble and special guests.
NBC also will broadcast "William & Kate: Inside the Royal Marriage," a new look into the popular royal couple's first months of marital life. The network will once again honor the United States armed forces as World Wrestling Entertainment® in conjunction with NBC, will air the fourth annual holiday special, "WWE Tribute to the Troops" (Saturday, December 17, 9-10 p.m. ET).
"The 85th Anniversary of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade" (Thursday, November 24, 10-11 p.m. ET) is a look back at 85 years of one of America's greatest holiday traditions. The special features the floats, balloons and performances that make the show one of the most watched spectacles every year.
NBC will telecast a number of hit feature films during the most wonderful time of the year, including the network premiere of "Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears A Who!" (Thursday, November 24 (8-10 p.m. ET) as well as "National Treasure: Book of Secrets" (Friday, November 25, 8-11 p.m. ET) and "Bee Movie" (Saturday, November 26, 8-10 p.m. ET).
And the traditional holiday classic "It's a Wonderful Life" will air twice again this season on Saturday, December 3 (8-11 p.m. ET) and in its annual Christmas Eve slot on Saturday, December 24 (8-11 p.m. ET).
