"Meet the Press" was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs hour on March 3, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research data. The NBC broadcast drew 3.472 million viewers, topping This Week by +626,000, The Face the Nation hour by +990,000, and FOX News Sunday by +2,203,000. This marks MTP's best viewer delivery since December 30, 2012, and best demo rating since January 27, 2013.

MTP delivered an additional 1,365,000 total viewers and 508,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts - 359,000 total viewers and 179,000 viewers A25-54 on the network, and 1,006,000 total viewers and 329,000 viewers A25-54 on MSNBC.

In Washington, DC, MTP averaged 77,000 total viewers (3.1/8 HH), +54% ahead of FOX News Sunday's 50,000 (1.7/4), +133% ahead of The Face the Nation hour's 33,000 (1.5/4), and +175% more than This Week's 28,000 viewers (0.9/2).

Highlights:

MTP averaged 3.472 million total viewers, +22% (+626,000) ahead of This Week's 2.846 million, +40% (+990,000) ahead of The Face the Nation hour's 2.482 million, and +174% (+2,203,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday's 1.269 million.
In homes, MTP delivered a 2.6 rating and 7 share, ahead of This Week's 2.1/6, The Face the Nation hour's 1.8/6, and FOX News Sunday's 1.0/3.
In rating A25-54, MTP delivered a 0.8 rating, +1 tenth more than This Week, +3 tenths more than The Face the Nation hour, and +4 tenths more than FOX News Sunday.
MTP averaged 982,000 A25-54 viewers, +15% (+128,000) ahead of This Week, +53% (+340,000) ahead of The Face the Nation hour and +120% (+535,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday.
Versus the same telecast last season, MTP was up in total viewers (+8%, or +252,000) and +13% (+1 tenth) in rating Men 25-54.
Compared to its 1Q'13-to-date average, MTP was up +13% (+400,000) in total viewers, +20% (+1 tenth) in rating Men 18-49, and +13% (+1 tenth) in rating Men 25-54.

Sunday's edition of "Meet the Press" featured an exclusive interview with Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH); an interview with National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling; and a roundtable discussion with Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID), Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker, Managing Editor of TheGrio.com Joy Reid, NBC News political director and chief White House correspondent Chuck Todd, and NBC News special correspondent Tom Brokaw.
