"Meet the Press" was the most-watched Sunday morning public affairs hour on March 24, 2013, according to Nielsen Media Research data. The NBC broadcast drew 2.759 million viewers, topping This Week by +326,000, The Face the Nation hour by +424,000, and FOX News Sunday by +1,613,000.

MTP delivered an additional 906,000 total viewers and 416,000 A25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts - 310,000 total viewers and 132,000 viewers A25-54 on the network, and 596,000 total viewers and 284,000 viewers A25-54 on MSNBC.

In Washington, DC, MTP averaged 82,000 total viewers (2.9/8 HH), +52% more than FOX News Sunday's 54,000 viewers (2.0/6), +82% ahead of The Face the Nation hour's 45,000 (1.7/5), and +204% ahead of This Week's 27,000 (1.0/3).

Highlights:

MTP averaged 2.759 million total viewers, +13% (+326,000) ahead of This Week's 2.433 million, +18% (+424,000) ahead of The Face the Nation hour's 2.335 million, and +141% (+1,613,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday's 1.146 million.
In homes, MTP delivered a 2.1 rating and 6 share, ahead of This Week 's 1.8/5, The Face the Nation hour's 1.7/4, and FOX News Sunday's 0.8/2.
In rating A25-54, MTP delivered a 0.7 rating, +1 tenth more than This Week and The Face the Nation hour, and +3 tenths more than FOX News Sunday.
MTP averaged 804,000 A25-54 viewers, +10% (+73,000) ahead of This Week, +19% (+129,000) ahead of The Face the Nation hour, and +73% (+339,000) ahead of FOX News Sunday.

Sunday's edition of "Meet the Press" featured exclusive interviews with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, National Rifle Association chief Wayne LaPierre, and lawyer David Boies; a discussion on the president's Middle East trip with NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel; and a roundtable conversation with Chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition Ralph Reed, Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen, Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne, and the New York Times' David Brooks.
