MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo this past Sunday, Oct. 15, according to Nielsen Media Research data. Sunday's broadcast featured UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, who shared that "right now, you're going to see us stay in the [Iran] deal," and Gov. John Kasich (R-Ohio), who, in an exclusive interview, addressed a possible 2020 presidential run.
MTP marked its thirteenth straight broadcast win among A25-54 demo viewers, averaging 958,000 viewers: +19 percent (+156,000) more than ABC's "This Week" and five percent (+48,000) more than CBS' "Face the Nation," which rates for only the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.
3.305 million total viewers tuned into the program: 20 percent (+543,000) more than ABC, marking MTP's biggest total viewer win over the network since May of this year.
Season-to-date, MTP is beating ABC in total viewers by +13 percent (+386,000), its biggest advantage in six years and continues as the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key demo, topping ABC by +16 percent (+133,000) and CBS by eight percent (70,000).
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board and winning every Sunday in total viewers since March 2015.
An additional 584,000 total viewers and 126,000 A25-54 viewers tuned into MTP this past Sunday through a rebroadcast on MSNBC.
