With news of the tragic Paris attacks unfolding, more viewers turned to NBC News' MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD (MTP) on Nov. 15 for the latest developments than any other Sunday show. Delivering 3.505 million total viewers, MTP topped ABC's "This Week" by +78,000 and CBS' "Face the Nation" half-hour by +76,000.
MTP outperformed CBS' half-hour for the first time since Sept. 27 of this year and topped
ABC in total viewers for the 17thstraight week. The show also topped CBS' half-hour in the 25-54 demo by +11%, with only 3% separating MTP from
ABC in the demo.
MTP was rated for 53 minutes of its hour-long broadcast, compared to ABC, which rated for 37, and CBS, which consistently rates for only 30.
The strong momentum of MTP continues, marking double-digit growth compared to last year: +25% in total viewers and +43% in the demo.
MTP also continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, with triple-digit advantages over the competition, outperforming them combined in both total viewers and the 25-54 demo.
MTP delivered an additional 1.365 million total viewers and 509,000 25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the
NBC network and on MSNBC.
