MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD (MTP) was the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board for the month of December, according to Nielsen Media Research data. Averaging 3.602 million total viewers for December, MTP beat ABC's "This Week" by +20 percent (+603,000) and CBS' "Face the Nation" by three percent (+113,000) marking the show's biggest December lead over CBS in seven years and over ABC in five years. Compared to December 2016, MTP increased its advantage over ABC by +48 percent (+197,000) and REVERSED a -276,000 total viewer deficit over CBS to +389,000 viewer advantage.

MTP continues to dominate the demo most valued by news advertisers, winning its third straight month with an average of 988,000 A25-54 viewers tuning into the program for December. MTP outperformed its competition by double-digits: +28 percent (+214,000) more than CBS and +25 percent (+199,000) more than ABC. The show delivered its biggest December wins in the key demo over both ABC and CBS in seven years. Compared to December 2016, MTP improved its advantages over CBS by +38 percent (+59,000) and ABC by +17 percent (+29,000).

MTP won its eighth consecutive quarter in the demo most valued by news advertisers. Delivering an average of 935,000 A25-54 viewers, MTP topped its competition in the key demo by double-digits: +13 percent (+110,000) more than ABC and +19 percent (+146,000) more than CBS. The quarter featured House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) exclusively defending Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) following accusations of sexual harassment, saying the 27-term congressman is "an icon in our country" who "has done a great deal to protect women" as well as a special anniversary edition of the broadcast, which celebrated its 70th anniversary in November.
