MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was the most-watched Sunday public affairs program on Sunday, April 2, according to Nielsen data, marking its first time as #1 season-to-date in every demographic since the 2010-2011 season. Sunday's program exclusively featured both Senate party leaders (Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.)) as well as former FBI agent Clint Watts, who discussed Russian information operations after testifying on Capitol Hill earlier in the week.

MTP has been the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board for ten of the past 11 weeks, breaking the record streak: the last time this happened was from July 10, 2011 to September 25, 2011.

3.837 million viewers tuned into Sunday's broadcast, four percent more than the same Sunday last year. MTP beat CBS' "Face the Nation" by two percent (+90,000) and delivered its biggest win over ABC's "This Week" in more than four years (since Dec. 20, 2012) with +33 percent more viewers (+948,000).

In the demo most valued by news advertisers, MTP continues as the sole Sunday show to consistently deliver more than one million viewers each week. 1.196 million A25-54 viewers tuned into the broadcast, gaining eight percent compared to the same Sunday last year. MTP topped CBS by +35 percent (+308,000) and ABC by +51 percent (+403,000).

MTP won its 92nd consecutive broadcast in the influential Washington, D.C. market, continuing to outperform the competition across the board with the market's newsmaker audience.

An additional 1.551 million total viewers and 314,000 A25-54 viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
