"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show across the board this past Sunday, March 11, according to Nielsen Media Research data, marking its seventh straight week at #1.

Sunday's broadcast featured an exclusive interview with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who defended the president's insults at Saturday's rally, including about Todd himself: "He's using these vulgarities in the context of a campaign rally, and obviously there were a lot of funny moments on that rally"; as well as interviews with Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

3.733 million total viewers tuned into MTP, beating both ABC and CBS by double-digits: +37 percent (+1.001 million) more than ABC's "This Week" and +27 percent (+800,000) more than CBS' "Face the Nation," which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast. This is MTP's 48th straight win over ABC and seventh straight win over CBS in total viewers, and best total viewer lead over ABC in over five years (since 12/30/2012, excluding SUPER BOWL Sunday and the Olympics) and CBS in over six years (since 1/8/2012). MTP was the only Sunday show to grow week over week in total viewers (+10 percent, +323,000), and compared to last year, MTP improved its advantage over CBS by +153 percent (+484,000).

MTP was also the most-watched broadcast in the demo most valued by news advertisers for its fourteenth straight broadcast, beating both ABC and CBS by double-digits. 1.069 million demo viewers tuned into the Sunday program: +55 percent (+379,000) more than ABC and +66 percent (+426,000) more than CBS. MTP was the only Sunday show to grow week over week in the key demo (+12 percent, +113,000), tripling its lead over ABC (+245,000) and improving its advantage over CBS by +75% (+183,000). Compared to last year, MTP improved its advantage over CBS by +33 percent (+106,000).

Season-to-date, MTP is the #1 most-watched Sunday show across-the-board and posts its largest advantage over ABC and CBS in total viewers in six years.

MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, outperforming its competition across the board. Next week, MTP will mark its third straight year winning every Sunday in total viewers (since March 22, 2015).

An additional 995,000 total viewers and 257,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
