"Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP), the #1 most-watched Sunday show across the board season-to-date, is winning in the influential Washington market for its third straight year - a streak that hasn't happened in nearly seven years.
The show won the key demo nationally this past Sunday, March 18 and is delivering its largest advantage over ABC and CBS in total viewers in six years season-to-date.
Sunday's win also marks the broadcast's UNRIVALED Washington market winning streak, where MTP regularly beats its competition by triple-digits across the board.
Sunday's broadcast featured exclusive interviews with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) who said former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe "should've been allowed to finish through the weekend," as well as Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Rep. Michael Conaway (R-Texas).
Dominating the demo most valued by news advertisers, MTP won its fifteenth straight broadcast with 928,000 demo viewers tuning in: +17 percent (+135,000) more than ABC's "This Week" and nine percent (+78,000) more than CBS' "Face the Nation."
3.494 million total viewers tuned into MTP, topping ABC in total viewers for the 49th straight broadcast: +14 percent (+431,000) more than ABC. Just one percent separated MTP from CBS, which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast.
An additional 1.109 million total viewers and 373,000 A25-54 viewers watched the Sunday program through rebroadcasts on NBC and MSNBC.
Tune into MSNBC's "MTP Daily" weekdays at 5 p.m. for more, and follow the show on Facebook and on Twitter for the latest.
