MEET THE PRESS Continues Ratings Winning Streak

According to Nielsen Media Research data, "Meet the Press" was top-rated Sunday morning public affairs program for the week ending June 13. The NBC broadcast attracted 2.756 million total viewers, +15% more (+367,000) than second place CBS' 2.389 million total viewers, a 30% advantage (+628,000) over ABC's 2.128 million total viewers, and a +160% (1,697,000) lead over FOX's 1.059 million total viewers. "Meet the Press" has now placed first in total viewers for 445 of the past 450 weeks (when everyone is at full coverage).  The program delivered an additional 1,266,000 viewers with rebroadcasts -- 584,000 viewers on the network and 682,000 viewers on MSNBC.

In Washington D.C., "Meet the Press" beat the competition combined with 96,000 viewers (3.3/9 HH) -- topping FOX's 30,000 viewers (1.1/3 HH) by +220%, CBS' 21,000 viewers (0.8/2 HH) by +357%, and ABC's 14,000 viewers (0.8/2 HH) by +586%.

In homes nationally, the NBC broadcast topped the competition with a 2.0 rating and 6 share. CBS came in second with a 1.7/5, ABC in third with a 1.6/4 and FOX was last with 0.8/2.  "Meet the Press" has now placed first in households for 543 of the past 546 weeks (when everyone is at full coverage).

Among adults 25-54, the NBC Sunday morning show came in first with 884,000 viewers, CBS was second with 775,000 viewers, ABC placed third with 726,000 viewers and FOX came in last with a 407,000 viewers.

Season-to-date, "Meet the Press" now leads second-place "Face The Nation" by +18% in total viewers and +17% in A25-54 (000).

Last week's guests was President Obama's Senior Adviser, David Axelrod. The roundtable featured California's new Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, Carly Fiorina, & Democratic Congresswoman from Florida and Vice Chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz; plus, Presidential Historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, Politico's Roger Simon, and NBC News' Chuck Todd.

On its digital platforms, "Meet the Press" generated more than 200,000 online video streams from June 13 through June 17.  The "Meet the Press" video podcast (available at www.mtp.msnbc.com) remains the top ranked network Sunday Morning program podcast on iTunes.
