Maroon 5 released its fourth studio album Overexposed in the summer of 2012. Recorded in Los Angeles, the release is a rich, pop-infused collection that Rolling Stone referred to as "their best yet," and People Magazine called "sweet soul kissed pop." The release of the album quickly reinforced the group's status as a powerhouse in popular music. Overexposed features several chart-topping singles including "Payphone," "One More Night," "Daylight" and "Love Somebody."
The band has captured three
Grammy Awards including the "Best New Artist" Award in 2005 and has sold more than 17 million albums worldwide with Gold and Platinum releases in more than 35 countries. Over the years, the band has won over fans and critics alike with the hybrid rock and R&B sound that was introduced on its debut album Songs About Jane and the double platinum album It Won't Be Soon Before Long. The latter included hits "Makes Me Wonder" and "If I Never See Your Face Again." In 2010,
Maroon 5 released its platinum third studio album Hands All Over. The collection featured two hit singles including the Hot AC smash "Misery" and the anthematic "Moves Like Jagger," which hit the No. 1 spot on the Top 40, Hot AC and Billboard Hot 100 charts.
